
Springfield, Missouri: The Chicago Mustangs and Springfield Demize have advanced to the 2020 Fall Super Cup finals to take place Saturday, November 7th, 2020 at 7:00pm in Springfield, Missouri at Lake Country Soccer Complex.
The 2020 Fall Super Cup presented by Minor League Soccer Championships, kicked off in mid-September
encompassing four competition regions with seventeen teams from nine states. The 2020 Fall Super Cup
exemplifies the mission of Minor League Soccer Championships through the promotion of high level minor league soccer in the United States and providing playing opportunities not readily available to teams and players.
The Chicago Mustangs advanced to the semifinals as the top overall seed after winning the Great Lakes Region with a 2-0-2 record. They then punched a ticket to the tournament finals with a 3-2 win over Ozark Mountain Region champions Atlas FC. The Mustangs will return to Springfield, MO November 7th looking to claim the championship on the road.
Advancing to the tournament semifinals as the third overall seed the Springfield Demize won the Mississippi Valley Region with a record of 2-1-0. The tournament playoff hosts took on the second seeded Heartland Region champions Santa Fe Wanderers in the semifinals, advancing to the finals with a 4-1 victory. The Demize will look to follow up their recent PASL indoor national championship with an outdoor title in front of a home crowd.
